Packed Promise program is an innovative supplemental benefit service and delivery model aimed at increased food access, food security and diet quality for Chickasaw children ages 4-18, Pre-K through 12th grades who qualify for free and/or reduced-priced school meals.
The Packed Promise program provides a 25-pound box of shelf-stable foods that are shipped directly to the doorsteps of each eligible child in the home. As a bonus, each child receives an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card with a $15 cash value benefit to purchase fresh, frozen or canned fruits and vegetables at local WIC authorized grocery stores and Farmers’ Market.
