Our Facility
Just 63 miles south of Oklahoma City, the Aalhakoffichi’ adolescent transitional living center is located on two acres in south central Oklahoma’s Chickasaw Country. Nestled in the small-town of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, the tranquil and idyllic setting provides a healthy environment where young people can focus on treatment and recovery.
A co-educational facility for adolescents ages 14 to 19, youth reside at the center, away from families in a non-family setting, with 24-hour care but without hospital-level medical attention. The center is a 24-bed transitional living facility that features gender and age specific, semi-private sleeping and bathing quarters, a computer lab, an outdoor sports area and a large kitchen. Meals at the center are served family dining style and developed by a trained dietician.
Our Treatment
A program derived from family systems theory, Aalhakoffichi’ offers a trauma-informed, culturally competent treatment designed to cultivate and nourish the four pillars of Chickasaw wellness: body, mind, spirit and culture.
Our multi-level program provides a unique opportunity for adolescents and their families to make important transitions into more interdependent living.
