- Who are pregnant (during pregnancy and up to six weeks after the birth of an infant or the end of the pregnancy).
- Who are postpartum (up to six months after the birth of the infant or the end of the pregnancy).
- Who are breastfeeding (up to the infant’s first birthday).
Infants
- Up to the infant’s first birthday.
Children
- Up to the child's fifth birthday.
Residential Requirements
Applicants must live within the Chickasaw Nation boundaries or receive health care services at a Chickasaw Nation facility, but are not required to live in the area for a certain period of time in order to receive services. Please call if you have questions regarding the residential requirements.
Income Requirements
WIC applicants can be income eligible, based on income level guidelines or be determined automatically income eligible based on participation in certain programs including:
- Food Distribution Program
- SNAP benefits
- Soonercare, Medicaid
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

Nutrition Risk Requirement
Applicants must be seen in the WIC office to determine nutritional risk. This assessment is completed at no cost to the applicant.

WIC Mobile Van
The WIC mobile van serves as a mobile office allowing the WIC team to visit locations within the Chickasaw Nation boundaries and provide full service to clients in rural areas where a clinical office is not available. To schedule an appointment on the WIC Mobile Van at one of the upcoming locations, please call (580) 447-4701.
